about

In Bróna's own words "This song almost made it onto my first album As The Crow Flies in 2008 (when I was working under the Forestbrook moniker), and then my debut solo album in 2018 We Are the Wildlife, but I was never quite happy with it.

So I started from scratch, re-recorded all the vocals in France with Myles Cochran at Mineur Studios, and sent the vocal tracks to Isan (Robin Saville & Antony Ryan). What they orchestrated (never having heard the original music) was a dream come true as I hope you'll agree. Now, in 2020, I'm ever so happy to release this song into the world"

lyrics

I have a daughter made of sound
She lifts me up when I am down
She is the light between the clouds
And from the sky at night
She calls me

Take me closer to
Closer to the sun
Take me closer to the sun

Two can become one
Two can become one
Two can become one
Inside the sun
